After graduating from St. FX University in 1988 with a degree in business, I started my first career with the Government of Nova Scotia followed by the Liquor Corporation.

I am married, and the mother of four children – a set of triplets and an older son! I have lived in Halifax for over 35 years but was brought up in the beautiful beach community of Inverness, Nova Scotia.
